Alue Design is a suburban Chicago-based concrete design studio from Anthony Bux. He creates home goods and home decor while pushing the boundaries of concrete’s unique properties – one product at a time.

At Alue Design, each concrete product is made with locally sourced pigment and sealer. Anthony makes planters, pencil and pen holders, trays, coaster, dry vases and other functional and decorative goods.

We’re excited to welcome Alue Design back to the Oak Brook Artisan Market on Saturday & Sunday, September 26-27, 2020 (10am-4pm both days). We’ll be OUTDOORS on the 10-acre grounds of The Drake – Oak Brook (2301 York Rd., Oak Brook) with top Midwest artisans in food, fashion, home goods + art. RSVP now for free admission.

Alue DesignThe Core Collection started from Anthony’s sketches that progressed to computer-aided design (CAD) using 3D modeling software. From the CAD, Anthony produces 3D printed models, and from those models, he creates molds from silicone. Once he has the silicone mold to his exacting standard, Anthony pours his custom blend of concrete into the silicone, creating the Alue Design concrete pieces.
